So ... I was putting my new outdoor furniture together today in prep for the influx of family tomorrow morning, and had "State of Play" on in the background (I've watched it about 4 times now)
and I need to know - has ANYONE written Cal/Steven slashfic ???
they're begging to be slashed - someone (who's not me) needs to write them, Cal even polishes Steven's shoes for him, and delivers a clean shirt and toothbrush ... and Steven cooks while Cal's at work .. they're sooo domestic 8^)
and Cal's reaction at the very end - crying in the corner, unable to speak because he's soo hurt by what he discovers about Steven - breaks my heart, and convinces me that there was more to their relationship than just 'mates'
of course, we can pretend that Anne doesn't exist ;)

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they own the entire Perry Como vinyl and CD library" I might feel compelled to mock your musical taste, but I'll certainly remember you.
It would be great if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

I took DangerMouse and Cherub to a show tonight - DM got Best of Breed (2nd time in a row) and Cherub got Challenge Bitch and she's only 'just' out of baby puppy classes.

actually - today this result isn't true (except for the appreciate each gift i'm given part - which is totally true!) - because today i'm ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SPOILED!!!!
thanks to the unbelievably generous rainer76 Thank you so much, I took babySimm (as Kendall) with me to work today, and watched some at lunch time ...I grinned from ear to ear, and had the best lunchtime ever... that grin increased by the fact that the boss at work's name is also Kendall .. lol

State of Play is coming to America on DVD next year - The story line is great, acting spectacular, and John is wonderful as the main character character Cal McCaffrey.
